The Office of Faculty and Staff Development was created to develop and support initiatives that assist all faculty and
staff in expanding their professional skills and achieving their career aspirations. Its mission is accomplished
through the following goals and objectives:
Providing information and resources to faculty related to academic advancement, clinical service, research, and teaching through orientations and seminars.
Assisting chairs in developing a departmental infrastructure/program for faculty development.
Assisting faculty and staff in identifying career development opportunities to enhance professional skills.
Establishing recognition awards for outstanding faculty and staff.
Promoting a culture that values faculty and staff accomplishments.
