Robert Lee, Ph.D., Associate Dean and Director of Multicultural Medical Student Affairs at Emory University School of Medicine joined the faculty and Administration in July 1994. He holds an adjunct associate professorship in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.  Previously he served for twenty-two years as Assistant Dean for Minority Affairs at Washington University School of Medicine.  Dr. Lee is a graduate of Saint Louis University and is trained as a psychologist. In addition to his responsibilities at Washington University, he maintained a limited private practice in St. Louis, Missouri.  His professional interest in psychology is family and marital, couples and individual marital counseling; particularly to African-American families. Other professional interest in counseling is to members of the clergy and their families who care for othersThis work includes “caring for the caregivers.”

Bob Lee is married to the former Beverly Ann Hunter who is an attorney.  She is a tenure track faculty member at the Georgia Perimeter College, (Dunwoody Campus), a unit of the University System of Georgia.  They are the proud parents of two adult sons, Jason Ryan Lee who is in the music recording industry.  Their younger son, Evan Michael Lee, is a senior Theater major at Auburn University, who will graduate in May 2007.

Dr. Lee is a trained pianist and organist and serves as organist at an Atlanta congregation.  His hobbies include golf and gardening.
