The Southeastern Critical Care Summit has been rescheduled for Monday-Tuesday, March 24-25, 2014. Registration for the new dates is now open.

If you registered for the February Summit, your registration will transfer to the new dates. You will need to make your session choices again. Please download and complete this session registration form and email or fax it to the CME office: cme@emory.edu or 404-727-3768 fax. If you are unable to attend the March dates and need a refund, please send your request to cme@emory.edu. NOTE: NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER MARCH 14.

This year we are excited to offer the opportunity for you to contribute to the body of critical care knowledge.  Share original investigative research with you colleagues at the Summit.  All abstracts should conform to the following content structure and formatting guidelines of the Society of Critical Care Medicine as follow follows:

  • A sentence describing the purpose of the study
  • A statement of hypothesis
  • A statement of experimental design or method used
  • A summary of results, presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusion
  • A statement of conclusions reached
  • Other formatting rules include:
  • The abstract cannot be more than 250 words for the body of the abstract.
  • The abstract may not contain no more than 2 tables or images.
  • Phrases such as “results/methods will be discussed” or “additional data will be presented” convey no relevant information and are unacceptable.
