I am interested in beer brewing, wood working, home rennovations, and living the dream. I am also known for tom foolery, ballyhoo, and hijinks. In my enormous amount of free time I also breed my Weimaraners.
Broadly speaking I am interested in the plasticity of the sensory systems in the brain. More specifically, I am exploring sites of plasticity within the sensory systems of mice undergoing fear conditioning and how those areas relate to other fear related and limbic brains structures. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the connectivity of these areas in the mouse using both magnetic resonance imaging techniques like diffusion tensor imaging with probabilistic tractography and also classical tracing methods.
