Sensitive Memory Tests for Differentiating MCI Subgroups

With Dr. Stuart Zola as PI, this project adapts novel, highly sensitive memory tasks developed in non-human primates to ADC Clinical Core subjects.

Crossed Genetic risk of Alzheimer & Parkinson Disease

Dr. Allan Levey serves as PI on this project which aims to test the association of novel candidate genes for AD and PD, discovered in Iceland and in ADRC Clinical Core subjects.

Analysis of Proteomic Patterns in Neurodegeneration

Dr. Junmin Peng is the PI of this project which applies state-of-the-art proteomics technologies to MCI, AD, and PD brains characterized in the Neuropathology Core. Collectively, these projects span clinical, translational, and basic research and will advance our understanding of MCI, AD, PD, and related disorders.
